Our story

TreHunter was founded in March 2007 in San Diego, born from Cindy Reh’s conviction that executive search could be done with more craft, more continuity, and more care than the prevailing agency model allowed. After more than a decade in technology-focused recruiting and business development roles, she had seen how often search firms handed off critical work between teams, losing nuance and momentum along the way.

TreHunter was built to fix that. The founding principle was simple: the senior recruiter who understands your business is the senior recruiter who delivers your hire.

Eighteen years later, that principle has guided successful placements across wireless, AI, defense, life sciences, med device, and emerging technology.
